The Enchanted Sacred Valley is a profound journey into the heart of Andean knowledge, where Inca engineering, ancestral agriculture, and living traditions come together in an authentic and immersive cultural experience.
This tour takes us through some of the most fascinating places in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide who carries the legacy of Andean oral tradition. Through their guidance, travelers will not only discover what they are seeing, but also understand why these places were created.
The experience begins as we travel through fertile agricultural fields and landscapes dominated by sacred mountains and snow-capped Andean peaks, arriving at Moray, a remarkable Inca agricultural experimentation center. Considered a true agricultural laboratory, Moray was used by the Incas to study microclimates and develop crops adapted to different environmental conditions.
We then continue to the impressive Maras Salt Mines, which have been in use since pre-Inca times and remain active today. Here, visitors learn about the ancestral process of salt extraction, carefully preserved and passed down through generations of local families.
Finally, we visit Chinchero, a traditional Andean village where the past and present coexist. We explore its archaeological site, its traditional market, and participate in a hands-on textile workshop, learning about spinning and natural dyeing techniques—one of the most important cultural expressions of the Andean world.
